Each globe passes through at least five sets of hands from start to finish. Working in our London studio are talented artists and makers. We have cartographers, wood-workers, metal-workers, an engraver, illustrator, watercolour artists and of course globe-makers. Globemakers start in the company as apprentices, training for at least a year before working on our smallest sized globes. It then requires further training to work on each additional size and style of globe.

We all work in a big open-plan studio and even as we continue to grow in numbers over the years, we are happy the company still feels like a family. Below you will find a few videos showing our studio and meeting some of the team.
