This listing is to book in for a travel themed globe with over 100 hand drawn and hand painted illustrations of bucket list sights around the world. Examples shown are the 22 Mini Desk Globe and 36cm Albion Desktop Globe in Glacial Blue and examples in our Schmincke Gagarin variation – but we can add personalisation like this on any sized globe including our large floor standing style. Handmade and hand painted – a bespoke version or variation of this globe can also be ordered – and with any colour ocean / land you see across our collections.
Choose which diameter globe you would like – the pricing reflects the personalisation shown but more can be added or some elements can be removed for a lower price – enquire regarding optoins by size –
Though we have a set suggestion in place for what illustrations are where – this is optional and as always we can design the globe as you would like it.
Suggested personalisation includes :
** From the Mauna Loa Volcano in Hawaii to Moai in Easter Island to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Space Needle in Seattle. The Mayan Pyramids of Chichen Itza, a Galapagos turtle, the Rainbow mountains in Argentina, Machu Picchu, Tierra Del Fuego and Christ the Redeemer – Rio De Janerio, Brazil.
** Towards Europe we have the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, the Tower of London, Sagrada Familia, Brandenburg Gate to the Colosseum.
** We added a Narwhal by Greenland, the Northern lights by Finland, a volcano in Iceland, an igloo in Greenland and the Little Mermaid in Denmark.
** Onwards to the Chorsu Bazaar in Uzbekistan to the Baiterek Tower in Kazakhstan to a Yurt in Mongolia. We could not leave off the Pyramids of Giza or the Temple of Abu Simbel in Egypt or Petra.** Towards Africa we have Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Victoria Falls between Zambia and Zimbabwe, the Khiva Fortress, Lalibela in Ethiopia, Aloba Arch in Chad, Mount Kilimanjaro, The Great Mosque of Djenné in Mali and the Big Five.
** We included the lovely Fairy Chimneys in Cappadocia, Zuma Rock in Nigeria, Fort of Santa Cruz in Algeria and Table Mountain.
** We have included the Burj Al Arab Hotel and the Burj Khalifa.
** We included not only the Taj Mahal but a lovey peacock and bengal tiger. In Asia we have a Tuk-Tuk, Ayutthaya in Thailand, tropical fish, Terracotta Warriors, the Great Wall of China and The Forbidden City, the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Ha Long Bay, a junk ship by Hong Kong and cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji by Japan.
** Everest…. for Bagan we have temples and balloons .. the Petronas Twin Towers for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Angkor Wat for Cambodia and the Shwedagon Pagoda for Myanmar.
** Sydney Opera House, the Great Barrier Reef, Beehive rocks, a kangaroo (yes that is bucket list!), Uluru and a Komodo Dragon by Indonesia.
** The bottom of the world finds glaciers and penguins and the globe features a unique cartouche.
Shown on Glacial Blue which is a cold blue ocean that gets lighter as it nears the coast paired with a warm brown shaded land. Similar colours like Regency Blue, Ochre, Parchment, and Mint Green will also look great. Gagarin and Cassini can be done but please note they are priced higher.
We will be in touch to confirm your choice of wood and finish for the base or in the case of the larger styles also the style of base. Options in metal are priced higher and some floor standing styles are priced higher than others.
You are welcome to commission your own unique version with added illustrations like ships, monuments, your own house, your pets, or family portraits. We can also add travel routes and bespoke cartography like quotes, dates, names, or favourite cities highlighted. Additional illustrations and design work will be quoted on top. We will go through a mocking up and approval process with you ahead of finalising your choices on your globe.

Shipping will be quoted on top for the larger sized globe – and applied to your final invoice.
